Tater Tot Casserole

1 1/2 lbs of ground beef

1 tsp. Lawry’s seasoning salt

1/2 cup French’s fried onions

1 (10 3/4 oz) can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup

2 (15 oz) cans of mixed vegetables (I like Freshlike Mixed Vegetables), drained

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

frozen tater tots

salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large skillet, add the ground beef and Lawry’s seasoning. Brown the ground beef and drain any fat. After the fat is drained, add the fried onions to the beef and continue cooking for an additional minute. Grease a casserole dish and add the cooked beef to the bottom. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the ground beef mixture. Next add the mixed vegetables, making sure they are well drained. Add the shredded cheddar cheese. Top with a single layer of tater tots and season with salt and pepper. Bake uncovered for 45 – 60 minutes until tater tots are browned and the cheese is bubbly.
