1 Tb. italian seasoning

1 lb. spicy italian sausage

1 medium sweet onion, diced

3 stalks of celery, washed and diced

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. On large baking sheet, arrange the cubes of bread and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with italian seasoning. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes, stirring the bread occasionally, until golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside. In a large skillet, cook the sausage, onion, and celery, add the garlic and fresh sage during the last couple minutes of cooking. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. In a large bowl, combine the sausage mixture with the egg, chicken stock, salt and pepper. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with butter and pour the mixture in the baking dish.
