Mary’s Chex Mix
12 cups Chex cereal, I use 6 cups each of Rice and Corn Chex
2 cups pretzel sticks
3 cups Schuler’s garlic snack chips, broken
1 1/2 cups cocktail peanuts
3 cups Fritos, original variety
10 TB. melted butter
1 1/2 TB Lawry’s seasoning salt
1 tsp. Slap Ya Mama seasoning (optional), this makes the mix a little more “bold”
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
In a large roasting pan, combine Chex cereal, pretzels, garlic snack chips, peanuts and Fritos. In a seperate bowl, combine butter, seasoning salt, onion powder, garlic powder and worcestershire sauce.
Drizzle 1/2 of the butter/seasoning mixture over the dry mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula to coat. Once stirred and coated, drizzle the second half of the butter/seasoning mix over the dry ingredients. Mix well to coat evenly.
Bake at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and transfer to paper towels to cool.
Store in air tight containers.
