Five Cheese Pie

Five Cheese Pie

2 tubes of Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations Seamless Dough Sheets (or Pillsbury Original Crescents)

6 slices of mozzerella cheese

6 slices of swiss cheese

6 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

6 slices of muenster cheese

1 block of cream cheese, softened

1 egg, beaten

garlic salt

2 Tb. butter, melted

1- 2 Tb. sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9×13 ungrease pan, unroll one of the tubes of crescent sheets (if using regular cresent rolls, pinch the seams together), spreading it evenly to the edges of the pan. Layer the sliced cheeses in order one on top of the other. Spread the softened cream cheese over the top layer of sliced cheese. Pour the beaten egg over the cream cheese and sprinkle with garlic salt. Unroll the second tube of crescent rolls and lay that on top, stretching it to fit over the all the layers to the edges of the pan. Brush melted butter over the top layer of crescents and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until cheeses are melted and top is golden brown.

Let rest for several minutes before cutting, this is very important.

Note: this recipe can be frozen prior to baking, when ready to use, thaw and then bake as instructed.
