Crescent Taco Pizza
1 tube of crescent rolls, I use the 8oz tube of the crescent sheet so you don’t need to pinch the seams together. If you can’t find the sheet, just use a whole tube of regular crescents and pinch the seams together.
1 lb ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
3/4 cup sour cream
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp Slap Yo Mama seasoning or reserve a 1/4 tsp taco seasoning from the packet
shredded lettice
cherry tomatoes, sliced
black olives, diced
Finely shredded Mexican cheese blend
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Pop open tube of crescent rolls and unroll evenly onto the paper lined tray. Bake according to package instructions or until lightly brown. Remove from oven and cool. In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef, drain the grease and add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions, stir to combine and simmer for several minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Combine the cream cheese, sour cream and Slap Yo Mama or reserved taco seasoning. Mix well to combine. Once the baked crescent rolls are cooled, spread the sour cream/cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent rolls. Top with taco meat. Layer shredded lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and shredded cheese on top of the meat. Cut into squares and serve immediately.
